Power and Sail Marine are responsible for selling plenty of sports cruisers and cabin cruisers each year, the layout, finish and running systems on the Flyer 12 is the best we've seen! Beneteau are renowned for luxury and high quality finishings, the Flyer 12 design is so quiet when steaming at 25 knots and has a progressive planing hull - planing at just over 10 knots!
We think you'll love the layout and configuration of the Cockpit and Saloon, blending seamlessly with the hard wearing and soft underfoot Evercore decking (cork style). Most West Aussies do 90% of the cooking outside, the cleverly placed dual burner cooktop in the cockpit, above the ice machine allows this. Furthermore, the BBQ sits atop an oversize stainless top for cooking and prepping food or filleting fish.
Beneteau considered air-flow through the cabin too, obviously this has an awesome AC unit across all cabins and saloon, however we're blessed with the Freo Dr so having two port holes plus a roof hatch in each cabin allows abundance of breeze through. The sunroof and sliding windows in the Saloon further enhance this and is ideal when you're underway.
The marlin board is large, bow area is fitted with a day bed and the companion ways are very wide with high railing making for an easy passage to the bow to pick up a mooring.
If you can't tell, I was blown away by the Flyer 12, it was so quiet underway - a problem with some sports cruisers, it's finishings are so tidy, internal moulding and scuppers throughout so cleaning is an absolute breeze.
Lastly, there is storage every where you look, especially under the stairs where Beneteau probably could have fit a 3rd cabin if they wanted to.
This is a cracking boat, will suit the fastidious buyer and those who understand what works here in WA. We're impressed and I 'm sure you will be too!
